We were invited by Igor and Talitha from Chocollata to help them design a repeatable pattern for their new campaign: supporting the Down Syndrome awareness cause. A percentage of every purchase would be donated to the Down Syndrome associations in Ontario.
After a thorough research, we followed with design for the pattern, utilizing the primary colors from the Down Syndrome Awareness cause, the blue-and-yellow ribbon. We also referred to other famous symbology for the cause, such as the three arrows, the sun, and the butterfly. The little sun and daisies were a choice to make the pattern more cheerful and empathizing, together with the Brigadeiros present in the pattern.
We're glad to be a part of this story, being able to help Chocollata with their goal of supporting the Down Syndrome Awareness cause through impactful social inclusion.
