Owned by Igor and Talitha, Chocollata is a family-owned, premium chocolate shop, serving in Toronto, Canada. First established in 2015, they launched as a startup — one of the first companies to introduce gourmet Brigadeiros in Toronto. Described as a cross between truffles, caramels, and fudge, Brigadeiros are completely handmade, hand-rolled in chocolate pearls, crushed nuts, and sprinkles.
Igor and Talitha approached us looking for patterns to illustrate the packages for their delicious sweet treats. Before starting the development of the illustrations, we diagnosed the need for a rebranding, positioning Chocollata as a more sophisticated yet joyful brand. We found a pastel color palette that communicated a warm and friendly vibe, combined with an elegant choice to keep the logo simple.
Soon after the rebranding, they opened their first store at the Upper Beaches. In less than a year, their second store was inaugurated at The Food District, inside the Square One Shopping Centre in Mississauga. The rebrand was a success, and Chocollata is a thriving enterprise with an appealing visual identity that reinforces their premium status and brings value to their business.
